I had avoided going to the dentist for over 30 years because of a phobia I developed in adulthood. About one year ago, I began to experience cracking of several of my molars and the eventually began to break off at the gum line. After much soul searching and internet exploring I decided to give Willow Bend a call, even though I live several hundred miles away in Arkansas. After speaking on the phone several times with one of their new patient coordinators (Miki), I decided to go for a consultation. The outcome was that I decided to have extensive restorative and reconstructive work done as well as smile improvement. The entire process took a little longer than we anticipated but the outcome is remarkable. My mouth feels and looks better than it ever has. I have been so pleased with the way each of the staff has treated me, always patient and kind and willing to answer my questions and allay my fears. I am 65 years old and this is the best investment in me, other than my education, that I have ever made. I think at some point I could begin to see a local dentist, but for now, I am so satisfied with the care and service that I have received at Willow Bend that I intend to continue to make the trip there for my routine checkups. In my early 40’s I started noticing that my smile was beginning to fade to the point where it was nearly impossible to see my teeth. I tried orthodontics which actually made things worse and I finally began to avoid smiling altogether because it appeared more like a grimace, I did not like my appearance. In 2005 my wife and I moved to Dallas and I was very fortunate to choose Dr. Beougher as my new dental care professional. Walking into his offices for the first time was awesome; it did not resemble any dental office I had ever seen before. The staff is unbelievably accommodating and professional which really made me feel like family. On my first visit we discussed what my goals were in terms of dental health and I remember saying to Dr. Beougher “you know, I would really like to have a better smile”. Dr. Beougher went on to describe how he could actually create a model that would show me how I would appear after his patented “smile lift” procedure. We then took a few photographs and soon I was holding a picture of myself that looked like an entirely different person… with a brilliant and happy smile. He explained how his process would actually restore the fullness of my facial features and that was why the results would be so dramatic. Being somewhat of a skeptic, I just had a hard time believing it was possible and so postponed doing anything about changing my smile, for the next 5 years!!. When I had my 50th birthday, I wanted to go even whiter with my porcelain restored smile, as the shade we picked 20-years ago was not at bright as I now wanted.

After years of disliking my teeth and not being happy with my smile because of color, shape and crookedness my husband surprised me by making an appointment with Dr. Richie Beougher for a smile consultation. After the consultation and being educated on what could be done to give me a beautiful smile I decided to proceed with porcelain veneers on both my top and bottom teeth. I even walked out the day of the consultation with a picture of what my proposed smile would look like. Dr. Beougher is quite a talented artist with an eye for detail for each individual’s needs and wants for their smile. The office staff are dedicated to customer service and take time going over every detail and answering each question. The dental assistants are very knowledgeable and informative and they made sure of my comfort during each procedure. I am VERY happy with the end result of my smile make-over and would recommend Willow Bend Dental and Dr. Beougher to anyone from meeting basic dental needs to a smile consultation and ultimate smile make-over. I moved into the Dallas area about a year ago and was referred to Willowbend Dental by a coworker. Since day one I've experienced nothing but exceptional service to the customer. There's no selling of any sort, just straight to the point honesty. I have been coming to willow bend dental for many years. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I am an engineer and do not particularly like dealing with insurance companies. The staff makes sure you understand the insurance, and handles the claims making things much simpler. I have had nothing but positive experiences since beginning treatment here. When I had an older crown come lose, they went out of their way to fit me in.

I was skeptical at first. This place looks like a damn castle. It's ornate and brash. My first thought is, "THIS is what I'm paying for??'

That was my attitude until I met Adrian...possibly one of the best dental hygienists I've ever had. You know, I'm really jealous of Adrian because she is one of the few people that I have met who really loves her job. She REALLY does. Not only that, but she is damn good at it. I completely trust her and her opinions about the best way to care for my teeth.

Also, Dr. Irvine is one of the friendliest dentists ever. She sits and talks to you like she's known you forever. Neither the hygienist or the dentist ever tried to push anything on me. I know they have all the bells and whistles, but not once did they try to upsell products.

This is a wonderful office and all the staff are more than accommodating

I'm a bad parent, or so I feel like it. I honestly believed kid's were supposed to go to the dentist when they were 4, but then I read articles that they're supposed to go when their first tooth comes in, others said after teething, etc. Needless to say, I figured I'd take my son when he turned 4. Which he did (too soon if you ask me), so I made an appointment.

Making the appointment was a breeze. We arrived on the day of the appointment and the staff was incredibly nice and very sweet. My son got to pick a movie (surprise, it was Disney's Cars, his crack) to watch while they did the cleaning. Now, my son is rather shy and a scaredy-cat. But the staff at Willow Bend went above and beyond to comfort him and explaining the procedures. He eventually was able to let them work and he relaxed a bit while watching his movie.

The dentist, Dr. Shah, explained to us his situation (yes, he's got 3 cavities, eeep!) and gave us suggestions for preventing them. She explained the procedure for cavities and took time to answer our questions. We definitely didn't feel rushed out the door.

Kiddo got his prizes (along with a spankin' new toothbrush!) in a little goodie bag and left the office incredibly happy, with shiny clean teeth and no longer afraid of the dentist. I couldn't thank them enough for being so easy-going with my son!!

Did I mention their offices are totally cool and even have a HUUUGE play area in the waiting room? What kid wouldn't love that, right? I totally recommend them for anyone with kids who may have some concerns with dentists or just want really great service. I'm totally happy to have found such a great dentist.

I am a patient at Willow Bend Dental. I met Dr. Beougher a few months ago while going through a divorce after 21 years of marriage. I am in Sales, and I am required to smile a lot. Depressed from my divorce, I was searching for a way to restore my joy when I read about the Smilelift Procedure. I met with Dr. Beougher and his staff at Willow Bend Dental, and they were able to generate pictures of me showing me what the Smilelift procedure could do for me. One appointment later, I had my temporary Smile. The first time I saw it I cried. For me it was a virtually painless procedure. Dr. Beougher and His staff were excellent. I'm not from around the Dallas area originally so I was really stressed about needing to find a dentist up here and not knowing where to go. After looking around online, I found this place and it seemed amazing, so I decided I would try it out.

The staff is always really friendly, especially Dr. Irvine. Sometimes the assistants seem a little clumsy and that stressed me a bit but I've never had any real problems so I don't fault them for that too much.

The location is amazing. It looks like a castle on the outside and the inside isn't much different. The decor is really nice and there is a little fireplace in the waiting room as well as coffee and water. This is nothing like my old dentist's office. You can watch TV or movies while you are having work done and they will even let you have a cozy blanket if you're cold.

My only real issue with this place is the people that have done the billing. They had to submit my insurance claim over 4 times simply because they entered wrong information and making simple mistakes, even though it was correct in their computer.

Overall, the friendly staff and the fact that Dr. Irvine is awesome and really knows what she is doing makes me like this place a lot more than the little mishaps make me dislike it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ritchie Beougher’s at Willow Bend Dental for over 10 years now and wanted to let people know what a great office they have! I was always afraid to go to the dentist because it was never a pleasant experience but once I stepped into Willow Bend Dental and they made me feel like family instead of another tooth to fix, I was sold. I have had some old fillings replaced with the new tooth colored ones and have even had Veneers done on my front teeth, some I had always wanted but was too afraid to do. My teeth were originally injured in the 7th grade when I was hit in the mouth accidentally with a baseball bat. The original repair work was awful. Then, as an adult, I saved up for years to replace the work. Once again, the work was unsatisfactory. Thank goodness for your guys!!! Now, after 22 years, I finally have a smile that I am proud. The repairs, whitening, and additional work gave me a great smile, which I seem to be using all the time!

Thank you for the teeth and smile I have always wanted. Since the age of nine, when my front teeth were damaged in an accident, I was very self-conscious about my smile and teeth. I never smiled naturally and tried to avoid being in photographs as much as possible. I had a series of front crowns done over the years and other dental work in bits and pieces. By the time I came to your office, not only were my teeth unattractive, but many of them were painful — and I had headaches and jaw aches. I had so many dental problems that it was overwhelming for me to know where to start. You and your staff were able to prioritize my treatment plan and encourage me and guide me through the process. You also listened to me as my goals were redefined — from not only wanting healthy teeth, but a beautiful smile. Your team is very friendly, and caring, but I especially want to mention Lani, Tracy, Kim, and Beth. These girls are incredible!

You need to know you helped brighten my day today. I was having lunch with a friend and we were interrupted by a total stranger who walked up to our table and told me I have a “beautiful smile” and walked away!! We both (my friend and I) looked at each other in shock and then started laughing!
After being called the Willowbend Dental girl and now this I’m certain you have these hired people out there just waiting for your patients to come around so they can compliment us :) !
